My List of Book Festivals and Fairs in New England

Since I discovered I could actually sell my books at festivals and fairs, I've been trying to attend as many as I can. I love being surrounded by eager readers who are open to hearing about what I've written even if they've never heard of me. And I love the energy and community I find among the talented authors and illustrators I meet.

I initially created a spreadsheet so I could track the events I was finding and attending. Then I shared it with a few author friends, and they suggested a whole bunch of events I didn't know about. (Thank you Rachel, Lori, Via!) Soon I realized it would make a great shareable resource for other authors. So I'm posting it here!

A caveat regarding the title of this post: Some of the events aren't in New England, and some aren't just for books.

SEE THE LIST

Note on using the list: On desktop, you can see all the events and details all at once like in a spreadsheet. (It's actually built in Airtable.) I have them grouped by state and sorted by name, but you can group or sort them in other ways, and you can download the data to a csv file. On mobile, however, you can't do either of those things, and you have to select an event to see details.

Note on event details: I try to keep the list up to date, but definitely check the events' own websites to confirm details. If my list is missing an event or has a mistake, definitely let me know.
