Book Festivals & Fairs

Book festivals and fairs are one of my favorite ways to meet readers. They're so much fun! I love to be surrounded by families and kids who love to read and who are eager to buy books even when their authors aren't household names. I also love to be surrounded by all the talented and creative authors and illustrators I meet there.

I love spreadsheets, so I decided to make one to keep track of all the festivals and fairs I hear about. I scoured the internet, I asked author friends, and I compiled all the data in one of my favorite apps, Airtable. Then I decided to share it!

It contains both children's and general audience book festivals, and holiday, vendor, and craft fairs. Most are driving distance from where I live in Greater Boston. You can download the data to a csv file, or just refer to it here whenever you like. It looks best on desktop. I try to keep the info up to date, but be sure to check an event's website to confirm any details! If I'm missing an event you think I should include, please let me know!
